Time for a little bragging

Evelyn is going to be 10 months old tomorrow and all the things she has accomplished in the last week alone are absolutely amazing.  It's wonderful to watch her learn and grow and move and play.  She can now crawl and motors across the room very efficiently.  She pulls herself up and 'cruises' along the edge of the couch and, using a push toy, can even take a few steps.  Instead of falling when she lets go, she bends her knees and sits on her bum.  She has been trying different finger foods for a little while now and likes being able to feed herself.  We've been teaching her to take sips from a cup and she surprised us last week by holding and using the cup all on her own.  She waves and points and claps and sometimes gives high-fives and when a song she likes comes on the radio she bops along to the beat.  She loves splashing and kicking in the tub & the pool.  I can't wait to see what skills she learns next and how her personality continues to emerge.  Meanwhile we're gonna enjoy all this sunshine and have tons of fun!
